Deck overview

This deck is an Abzan midrange reanimator strategy piloted by Betor, Ancestor's Voice. The deck leverages life total fluctuations as an engine, converting self-inflicted life loss from lands and spells into free end-step reanimation while turning lifegain from combat and lifelink creatures into massive +1/+1 counter buffs. Early turns focus on filling the graveyard with self-mill pieces such as Stitcher's Supplier, Hermit Druid, and Grisly Salvage. Once Betor enters on Turn 4, the deck quickly pivots to offense, cheating massive demons and value creatures like Valgavoth, Terror Eater, Vilis, Broker of Blood, and Bloodletter of Aclazotz directly onto the battlefield. Backed by secondary win conditions like Felidar Sovereign, Mortal Combat, and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, the deck presents lethal combat damage and drain across Turns 6 and 7.
