Auntie Ool, Cursewretch Ver2 by Mintsauce

Format: Commander

Commander: Auntie Ool, Cursewretch

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund -1/-1-counter engine deck helmed by Auntie Ool, Cursewretch, who turns every blight and counter placement into raw card advantage or incidental life loss. The deck's plan is to jam repeatable counter engines like Hapatra, Vizier of Poisons, Nest of Scarabs, Blowfly Infestation, and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, then convert self-blights into tokens, draws, and drains before assembling one of several interlocking infinite loops. Primary kills come from All Will Be One, Blood Artist/Zulaport Cutthroat drain, or the Mikaeus, the Unhallowed/persist engine. The fallback plan is a wither-based combat lock using Everlasting Torment, Maha, Its Feathers Night, and Kulrath Knight. At 3.03 average CMC with 37 lands, the deck is a midrange combo build that can pivot between grinding and explosive one-turn wins.
