Deck overview

This deck is a Golgari midrange token swarm strategy helmed by Camellia, the Seedmiser. It leverages the synergy between Food artifact tokens and Squirrel creatures, converting sacrificial Food engines into wide boards of 1/1 Squirrel tokens. With Camellia granting menace to all Squirrels, opposing blocks become exceedingly difficult. Card draw engines like Toski, Bearer of Secrets and Skullclamp ensure that sacrificial fodder refills the hand. The deck transitions into the late game by magnifying its board with token doublers such as Doubling Season and Parallel Lives, then closes the table using overrun effects like Coat of Arms, Beastmaster Ascension, Triumph of the Hordes, or life-loss triggers from Valley Rotcaller. While resilient to single-target removal due to high redundant token makers, it requires careful pacing to navigate sweepers.
