Deck overview

This deck utilizes Leonardo, the Balance and Michelangelo, the Heart to create a synergistic five-color +1/+1 counters and creature token midrange engine. Michelangelo deploys early on turn two, attacking to reliably generate Food tokens and grow your attackers. Leonardo follows on turn four, converting every entering token into a permanent +1/+1 counter across your entire creature lineup. The ninety-nine reinforces this core plan with powerful counter doublers like Branching Evolution and Doubling Season, prolific token producers such as Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon and Tendershoot Dryad, and protective utility including The Ozolith and Kutzil, Malamet Exemplar. Once your board state expands by turn six, you close out the game through Leonardo's five-color combat activation, Overwhelming Stampede, or unblockable attacks with Herald of Secret Streams. While the deck possesses strong creature resilience and rapid engine recovery, it relies heavily on permanent-based battlefield presence and has limited instant-speed interaction against opposing fast combo strategies.
