Sleepy Wizard by Jonnlaxx

Format: Commander

Commander: Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Simic 'big spells and awaken the land' deck. Arixmethes, Slumbering Isle starts as a two-mana land that also operates as a 12/12 finisher once five spells are cast. The primary plan is to ramp into high-cost creatures and value spells, generating card advantage with Gandalf, Thryx, and token makers while removing slumber counters. Secondary paths use the same spell-heavy engine to build a wide aerial/mass token board and finish with Overwhelming Stampede, or set up Hullbreaker Horror loops. Without a true hidden commander, the deck leans on its big-mana engine to protect Arixmethes and deliver one massive trampling swing.
