Deck overview

This Jeskai deck focuses on +1/+1 counters, artifact synergy, and combat aggression led by Optimus Prime, Hero. The strategy ramps into an early Optimus Prime cast via its More Than Meets the Eye alternate cost, triggering bolster abilities on each end step and attack phase. As counters accumulate, the deck translates power into lethal swings using evasion enablers like Herald of Secret Streams, damage doublers like Uncivil Unrest, and extra combat phases from Akki Battle Squad. High-value draw engines like Danny Pink and Reconnaissance Mission ensure continuous card replenishment, while asymmetric board wipes like Damning Verdict and Organic Extinction clear opposing blockers while leaving your modified artifact army intact. The commander's built-in death-trigger recursion provides resilience against removal, allowing the deck to maintain steady, compounding pressure throughout the mid-game.
