Deck overview

This deck is a high-power Dimir Combo-Control list piloted by Rona, Herald of Invasion. The primary win condition revolves around granting Rona a tap-to-bounce ability using Retraction Helix or Banishing Knack and casting a zero-mana legendary artifact such as Mox Amber. Each cast of Mox Amber triggers Rona's untap ability, producing infinite colored mana, infinite storm, and clearing all opposing nonland permanents. The deck closes the game immediately on Turn 4 via Brain Freeze mill or infinite card draw with Faerie Mastermind. Alongside the primary combo, the list runs a potent secondary reanimation package featuring Entomb, Animate Dead, Victimize, and oppressive high-end payoffs including Jin-Gitaxias, Core Augur, Archon of Cruelty, and Toxrill, the Corrosive. Supported by low-cost interaction, proactive tools like Vexing Bauble, and steady looting from Rona, the deck transitions smoothly between rapid combo assembly and overwhelming resource denial.
