Deck overview

This Grixis Voltron deck leverages Fire Lord Azula to turn cheap instant combat spells into devastating lethal strikes. Azula generates two red mana via Firebending 2 upon attacking and duplicates every spell cast while she is attacking. By stacking low-cost power doublers like Unleash Fury and Bulk Up with double strike enablers like Temur Battle Rage and Psychotic Fury, the deck frequently eliminates an opponent in a single combat step starting on Turn 4. Extra combat spells such as Great Train Heist and Seize the Day accelerate the clock to eliminate the rest of the table by Turn 6. While the deck boasts high redundancy in combat buffs, its low interaction count and limited defensive shielding leave its commander vulnerable to well-timed spot removal.
