Deck overview

This Commander deck is a five-color Dragon tribal midrange strategy led by The Ur-Dragon. It leverages Eminence to discount Dragon spells directly from the command zone, accelerating the deployment of massive flying threats. The early game focuses on establishing mana through land drops and three-mana Dragon Orbs such as Carnelian Orb of Dragonkind and Jade Orb of Dragonkind. By turn 5, the deck transitions into dropping game-warping engine pieces like Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm, Kindred Discovery, and Scourge of the Throne. Winning lines center on overwhelming aerial combat damage multiplied by Atarka, World Render, Thrakkus the Butcher, or Fiery Emancipation, alongside token generation from Utvara Hellkite. The deck excels at explosive multi-target damage and strong board presence once established. However, it relies heavily on natural draws due to a lack of tutors and remains vulnerable to well-timed board wipes and fast combo decks before its heavy flying armada can stabilize.
