Deck overview

This Naya deck utilizes Shalai and Hallar to weaponize +1/+1 counter placement into direct burn damage against opponents. Early turns focus on ramping out the commander alongside static counter enhancers like Hardened Scales and Branching Evolution. During the mid-game, large threats such as Kalonian Hydra, Railway Brawler, and Bright-Palm, Soul Awakener double counters and trigger massive bursts of non-combat damage while building a dominant attacking force. The deck also includes an infinite creature and counter combo using Ivy Lane Denizen and Scurry Oak, which deals lethal damage to the entire table when the commander is present. Removal is versatile and exile-focused, while protection pieces like Grand Abolisher and Inspiring Call safeguard key turns. Lacking tutors and stack interaction, the list leans on dense internal synergy and high combat velocity to overwhelm opponents by turns 5 and 6.
