Deck overview

This deck is an aggressive mono-green strategy centered around infect, toxic, and proliferate mechanics, spearheaded by Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider. The primary game plan utilizes early-game creatures like Glistener Elf, Blight Mamba, and Bloated Contaminator to apply early poison counters to opponents. Once Vorinclex enters on Turn 5, its counter-doubling ability accelerates poison accumulation, turning single attacks and proliferate triggers into rapid, lethal damage. Supporting artifacts and creatures such as Contagion Engine, Staff of Compleation, and Evolution Sage ensure consistent counter progression even outside of direct combat. Concurrently, Vorinclex passively suppresses opposing planeswalkers and counter-based strategies by halving counters opponents place. The deck backs up its primary aggro plan with heavy finishers like Tyrranax Rex and overrun effects such as Triumph of the Hordes, creating a resilient, focused clock.
