Forces of the Imperium (Copy)

Format: Commander

Commander: Marneus Calgar

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Esper deck builds a wide army of Astartes Warrior and Soldier tokens and wins through combat. Marneus Calgar acts as the main draw engine, turning every token entry into a card, and can later make tokens himself for six mana. Belisarius Cawl serves as a hidden commander, repeatedly making tokens and digging for artifacts to keep the hand full. The primary plan floods the board with Birth of the Imperium, Company Commander, Thunderhawk Gunship and Squad copies, then buffs the army with For the Emperor!, The Flesh Is Weak and Greyfax. Secondary paths use vehicle damage from Knight Paladin and Reaver Titan and grind value from Celestine and Sister Hospitaller recursion.
