Deck overview

This deck is a Mono-Green Counters and Midrange Superfriends list led by Vorinclex, Monstrous Raider. The core strategy accelerates mana through efficient 1-2 CMC ramp spells and mana dorks to deploy Vorinclex on Turn 4. Once Vorinclex is on the battlefield, all counters placed by the pilot are doubled while opponents' counters are halved rounded down. This replacement effect allows high-impact planeswalkers like Nissa, Who Shakes the World, Garruk, Primal Hunter, Garruk, Caller of Beasts, and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon to enter the battlefield with double starting loyalty and immediately activate their ultimate abilities on the turn they are cast. These ultimates tutor every Forest from the deck, generate huge armies of Wurm tokens, or clear opposing boards. The deck leverages Vorinclex's 6 power to draw massive bursts of cards through power-based draw spells and finishes opponents with overwhelming trampling combat damage.
