Deck overview

This deck is a classic Naya populate midrange strategy commanded by Ghired, Conclave Exile. The game plan revolves around accelerating into Ghired on Turn 4 to immediately generate a 4/4 trampling Rhino token, followed by attacking on Turn 5 to trigger populate and exponentially multiply large creature tokens. Dense redundancy of power-based card draw engines like Elemental Bond and Garruk's Uprising converts every populated token into fresh resources, while damage enablers like Warstorm Surge and Slash, Reptile Rampager weaponize token creation directly. Once a critical mass of trampling bodies is established, the deck closes the game on Turns 6 through 8 through explosive overrun effects such as Overwhelming Stampede, Akroma's Will, and True Conviction. While highly resilient against single-target attrition due to generating multiple bodies per spell, the deck relies heavily on combat and remains exposed to fast combo decks and exile-based board wipes.
