Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos Outlaw Theft and Exile-Matters strategy commanded by Laughing Jasper Flint. The primary game plan revolves around curving out low-cost Outlaw creatures (Assassins, Mercenaries, Pirates, Rogues, and Warlocks) to rapidly scale the commander's upkeep trigger. Once operational, Jasper steals multiple cards from opponents' libraries each turn, allowing the pilot to spend mana of any type to cast them. Stolen spells and native impulse draw fuel devastating non-combat burn payoffs like Passionate Archaeologist, Keeper of Secrets, and Flaming Tyrannosaurus, turning opponent resources into lethal direct damage. Secondary engines like Prosper, Tome-Bound, Gisa, the Hellraiser, and Rakdos, the Muscle provide continuous mana velocity and board presence. While the deck possesses explosive card flow and high thematic synergy, its lack of direct tutors and reliance on upkeep triggers create standard vulnerability to creature removal and board sweepers.
