Deck overview

This deck is an Esper combo-control build commanded by Queza, Augur of Agonies. It weaponizes card draw into life drain, using symmetrical draw effects, wheels, and continuous draw engines to simultaneously pull ahead in resources and whittle down opposing life totals. The primary route to victory revolves around deterministic combo finishes, most notably pairing Queza with Lich's Mastery or Drogskol Reaver to draw through the library and drain all opponents to zero in a single turn. Backup lines feature classic lifegain loops like Exquisite Blood with Sanguine Bond or Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. The deck supports these wins with efficient Esper removal, defensive countermagic, pillowfort enchantments, and asymmetric hand-stripping locks via Notion Thief and wheels.
