Deck overview

This Jeskai deck is a legendary Wizard tribal combat deck led by Gandalf, Party Guest. Gandalf lets you cast an instant or sorcery for free at the start of combat where X equals twice the number of legendary Wizards you control, so the deck floods the board with cheap legendary Wizards like Adeliz, Balmor, Kykar, Vivi, and Veyran. Each noncreature spell then pumps the team via Adeliz, Balmor, and Jeskai Ascendancy while drawing cards through Whirlwind of Thought, Jeskai Ascendancy, and Azami. The win is combat damage amplified by double strike and extra combats. Two separate extra-combat loops provide backup if one piece is answered, and Gandalf is value rather than a required combo piece.
