New Untitled Deck by elincoln123

Format: Commander

Commander: Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Shirei, Shizo's Caretaker is the recursion engine at the heart of a Shadowborn Apostle swarm. The deck intends to build a critical mass of 1/1 Clerics, sacrifice six at a time to put Demons directly into play, and use Shirei's end-step return to reuse the same Clerics every turn. Secondary plans lean on Thrumming Stone to ripple through all 29 Apostle copies, Skullclamp and Necropotence to convert the swarm into cards, and Liliana's Contract as an alternate win once four differently named Demons are on the battlefield. Demon beaters plus Bastion of Remembrance and Bloodletter of Aclazotz life-loss effects close out games. There is no double-faced commander; Thrumming Stone acts as a hidden engine.
