Deck overview

This Grixis tempo deck centers on Goro-Goro and Satoru to convert low-cost evasive threats and Ninjutsu creatures into an overwhelming aerial army of 5/5 flying Dragon Spirit tokens. The game plan opens with unblockable one-drops like Changeling Outcast and Mist-Cloaked Herald, which enable cheap Ninjutsu swaps for value engines like Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow and Ingenious Infiltrator. Because Ninjutsu puts creatures onto the battlefield attacking, their combat damage reliably satisfies the commander's condition, generating 5/5 Dragons every turn. The deck accelerates card flow through combat saboteur triggers and taxes like Rhystic Study, keeping its hand stocked with efficient interaction such as Fierce Guardianship, Deadly Rollick, and split-second spells like Trickbind and Sudden Spoiling. While vulnerable to mass creature board wipes, the deck leverages high functional redundancy and independent backup lines like Shredder, Shadow Master and Sneak Attack to rebuild swiftly and close out games through evasive combat damage by Turn 7.
