Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis attrition and control list helmed by Kefka, Court Mage. Its game plan revolves around leveraging Kefka's symmetrical discard ability to simultaneously bleed opponents of resources while refilling its own hand through type-diverse discard triggers. Once mana is developed through artifact ramp, the deck pivots into heavy-hitting threats such as Shredder, Shadow Master, Bolas's Citadel, and Nicol Bolas, Dragon-God. Sweepers like Blasphemous Act and Day of Black Sun control opposing creature boards until Kefka can transform or high-power combat threats close the game. Without compact combo lines, the deck wins through card advantage, life-halving attacks, and sustained card denial.
