HYDRATADOS by user3359831

Format: Commander

Commander: Zaxara, the Exemplary

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Sultai X-spell and +1/+1-counter deck built around Zaxara, the Exemplary, who serves as both the mana engine and the token engine. The plan is to accelerate into Zaxara, resolve X-cost Hydras and X-draw spells, and leverage a dense stack of counter doublers-Hardened Scales, Corpsejack Menace, Primal Vigor, The Earth Crystal, and Unbound Flourishing-to produce enormous trampling boards. The cleanest alternative kill is the compact infinite-mana combo of Zaxara, the Exemplary plus Freed from the Real into Exsanguinate. It can also close games through combat with Craterhoof Behemoth granting an entire army haste and trample. The primary win conditions are massive Hydra combat damage and infinite-mana Exsanguinate.
