Deck overview

This Jund deck is an engine-driven lands-matter deck helmed by Hearthhull, the Worldseed. The game plan revolves around accelerating mana in the early turns, stationing Hearthhull to unlock card draw and extra land drops, and cycling lands between the battlefield and the graveyard. As the engine builds, the deck leverages recursion pieces like Ramunap Excavator and Icetill Explorer alongside burst spells such as Scapeshift and Splendid Reclamation. Critical onset occurs around Turn 6 when Hearthhull reaches 8+ charge counters or when major landfall threats like Titania, Protector of Argoth, Omnath, Locus of Rage, and Scute Swarm enter the battlefield. Opponents are subjected to direct life drain from Hearthhull and Ob Nixilis, the Fallen combined with overwhelming combat pressure from generated tokens, closing out the game across two response cycles by Turn 8. The deck features strong redundancy and alternative win conditions, though it remains vulnerable to targeted graveyard hate and exile sweepers.
