Deck overview

This Abzan lifegain/tokens/reanimator deck is helmed by the partner pair Ravos, Soultender and Ikra Shidiqi, the Usurper. Ravos provides a global +1/+1 anthem and repeatable graveyard recursion, while Ikra converts combat damage into life. The deck gains life through a dense suite of ETB, death, and combat triggers, then converts that life into board-wide pumps via Nykthos Paragon, Righteous Valkyrie, and Cathars' Crusade, overwhelming opponents with tokens from Torens, Fist of the Angels, Adeline, Resplendent Cathar, Horn of Gondor, and Maja, Bretagard Protector. Mass reanimation in Living Death, Haunting Voyage, and Guardian Scalelord provides resilience, while The Book of Exalted Deeds plus an Angel offers a soft "can't lose" lock. The primary win is combat damage from a pumped token army; the Book lock is a secondary grind path.
