Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy Dimir Zombie Aristocrats build commanded by Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver. The strategy focuses on converting cheap Zombie creatures into repeatable card advantage and board presence. Wilhelt replaces dying nontoken Zombies with 2/2 decayed tokens, providing endless sacrifice fodder for value engines like Undead Augur, Carrion Feeder, and Morbid Opportunist. The deck controls opposing creature strategies through asymmetric suppression tools such as Noxious Ghoul and Sothera, the Supervoid, repeatedly clearing opposing boards while breaking parity with disposable tokens. To close games, the list leverages compact infinite combinations and massive drain bursts. Its primary win condition pairs Rooftop Storm with Acererak the Archlich, enabling infinite free casts and dungeon venture triggers to drain opponents out via the Lost Mine of Phandelver. Supported by mass reanimation spells like Living Death and drain anchors like Gray Merchant of Asphodel, the deck blends resilient graveyard recursion with lethal combo inevitability.
