Toxrill, the Corrosive by Raven318

Format: Commander

Commander: Toxrill, the Corrosive

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

This is a Dimir control/proliferate deck built entirely around Toxrill, the Corrosive. The plan is to ramp to seven mana, land Toxrill, then use a dense proliferate package - Inexorable Tide, Flux Channeler, Tekuthal, Inquiry Dominus, Contagion Engine, Contagion Clasp, Karn's Bastion, Tezzeret's Gambit, and Expansion Algorithm - to stack slime counters on every opposing creature, shrinking them into irrelevance and converting each death into 1/1 Slug tokens. Those Slugs fuel Toxrill's card draw, Yawgmoth, Thran Physician's activation, and edict effects like Grave Pact and Dictate of Erebos. The deck wins through incremental drain (Blood Artist, Zulaport Cutthroat, The Meathook Massacre, Agent of the Iron Throne), a massive Torment of Hailfire off Cabal Coffers and Black Market, or combat beats from its large flyers. It is a slow, grindy inevitability deck that punishes creature-based boards.
