Deck overview

Alandra, Sky Dreamer commands a mono-blue draw-tempo deck that converts card advantage into an overwhelming aerial army. The strategy centers on drawing multiple cards every turn to trigger Alandra's dual abilities: creating 2/2 flying Drake tokens whenever a second card is drawn, and executing an explosive +X/+X overrun buff when drawing five cards in a single turn. Supported by an extensive package of efficient cantrips, premier draw engines like Rhystic Study and The One Ring, and wheel effects such as Windfall, the deck consistently maintains a full grip while populating the board with evasive threats. A dense suite of countermagic, including Fierce Guardianship and Mana Drain, protects key assets and disrupts opposing win attempts. Secondary win conditions like Psychosis Crawler, Twenty-Toed Toad, and Talrand, Sky Summoner ensure resilient backup plans when the commander is contested. Ultimately, the deck overwhelms opponents with massive flying strikes cleared by an overloaded Cyclonic Rift.
