Commander: Ygra, Eater of All

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari Food/sacrifice deck is helmed by Ygra, Eater of All, who turns every creature on the battlefield into a Food artifact, making each death a +2/+2 pump for the commander while feeding a dense Food-synergy package. The primary plan is to ramp into Ygra, generate Foods and tokens via Peregrin Took, Tireless Provisioner, Gilded Goose, and Camellia, the Seedmiser, then sacrifice them to grow Ygra into an unblockable commander-damage threat (Whispersilk Cloak, Buster Sword). Secondary wins come from life-gain drain (Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Blood Artist, Enduring Tenacity, Cauldron of Essence), Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord sacrificing a giant creature, and mass recursion via Living Death and Shigeki, Jukai Visionary. It is a grindy value deck that wins through inevitability rather than a fast combo.
