Deck overview

This Golgari deck is commanded by Chatterfang, Squirrel General, focusing on token generation, aristocrat drain, and creature-based combo finishes. Chatterfang's static ability turns every token creation event—whether Food, Treasure, Clues, or Spawns—into additional 1/1 green Squirrel tokens. These tokens fuel mana acceleration through cards like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest and Warren Soultrader, draw massive cards via Skullclamp and Yawgmoth, Thran Physician, and provide continuous creature removal through Chatterfang's activated ability. The primary win condition is an infinite loop with Pitiless Plunderer, which generates infinite colored mana, infinite death triggers, and infinite -X/-X effects to drain the table with payoffs like Blood Artist, Bastion of Remembrance, and Mirkwood Bats. Supported by strong spot removal and asymmetric board control like Grave Pact, the deck presents a fast, resilient clock.
