Ur-Dragon Today (tbd) by dennyboya

Format: Commander

Commander: The Ur-Dragon

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

The Ur-Dragon is a five-color Dragon tribal deck that leans on its eminence discount to deploy Dragons ahead of curve, then converts attack triggers into card advantage and combo assembly. The primary plan is to assemble an extra-combat loop with Savage Ventmaw or Old Gnawbone plus Aggravated Assault or Hellkite Charger, killing through repeated combat steps. Secondary paths are Ur-Dragon beatdown with Atarka, World Render and Utvara Hellkite, and a Tiamat tutor chain that finds the missing combo pieces. Tiamat acts as a hidden commander in the 99, effectively a second tutor engine. The commander's role is to reduce Dragon costs and refill via attack triggers; the deck does not need to cast him to win.
