Format: Commander

Commander: Kykar, Zephyr Awakener

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Kykar, Zephyr Awakener leads an Azorius tempo and flying creature strategy that slows down opposing offenses while building an evasive air force. The deck deploys early disruptive permanents like Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, Ghostly Prison, and Authority of the Consuls to buy time against faster tables. Kykar converts noncreature spells into 1/1 flying Spirit tokens or flickers utility creatures to dodge removal. Evasive threats such as Empyrean Eagle, Youthful Valkyrie, and The Falcon, Sam Wilson steadily grow across multiple turns. Victory comes through overwhelming the table in sequential combat, combining go-wide flying tokens with anthem effects and unblockable pressure.
