Format: Commander

Commander: The Notary Hobbits

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

The Notary Hobbits is the deck's big-mana engine rather than a traditional combat commander. When it enters, it creates two nonlegendary token copies; with Thousand-Year Elixir, Shang-Chi, or Concordant Crossroads, all three Halflings can tap immediately, each adding colorless equal to the number of Halflings you control, usually a burst of 9 mana per turn. That mana hard-casts or cheats in expensive Eldrazi and colorless beaters, using cast triggers for removal and annihilator to clear blockers. The deck has no hidden commander and no infinite combo; its win lines are combat-driven alpha strikes. After assembling several Eldrazi, Finale of Devastation or Akroma's Memorial supplies haste and trample, and Blightsteel Colossus removes one opponent via infect.
