Deck overview

This deck is a five-color artifact midrange powerhouse piloted by Karn, Gilded Guardian. It leverages dense low-cost ramp, cost reducers, and colored artifact creatures to rapidly construct a formidable battlefield presence while drawing deep into the library. Early turns establish mana acceleration through rocks, dorks, and reducers like Etherium Sculptor and Enthusiastic Mechanaut. In the midgame, token engines like Simulacrum Synthesizer, Urza, Chief Artificer, and Sai, Master Thopterist convert every artifact cast into an army of flying Thopters and scaling Construct tokens. Karn, Gilded Guardian provides substantial burst card draw upon arrival by counting colored artifacts such as Transguild Courier, Baleful Strix, and Mendicant Core, Guidelight. The deck pivots to a decisive finish using overwhelming combat overruns, animated artifact strikes with Cyberdrive Awakener, massive trample boosts from Craterclaw Colossus, or full-board haste and invulnerability from Krang, Utrom Warlord, defended throughout by efficient interaction and layered static protection.
