boros angels by user7837604

Format: Commander

Commander: Seluma, Light of Aysen

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Angel-tribal beatdown deck that uses Seluma, Light of Aysen as a repeatable reanimation engine: she attacks, then returns an Angel from the graveyard to the battlefield. There is no hidden commander; Aurelia the Warleader is the most important non-commander finisher, giving extra combats and doubling Seluma triggers. The primary plan is to curve cheap Angels into Seluma, use cost reducers like Starnheim Aspirant and Urza's Incubator to cheat on mana, and finish with a wide flying army, often powered by Lyra Dawnbringer and Gisela, Blade of Goldnight. Life gain from Bishop of Wings and tokens from Court of Grace keep the board healthy while Sephara and Kindred Boon protect the army. It is a slow, interactive midrange deck with no infinite combo.
