Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Izzet spellslinger combo list centered on Vivi Ornitier. Vivi functions simultaneously as an engine, a mana ritual, and a win condition in the command zone. The primary strategy attaches Curiosity or Tandem Lookout to Vivi. Because Vivi deals 1 damage to each opponent whenever you cast a noncreature spell, each cast draws three cards. This massive card influx fuels low-cost cantrips, zero-mana artifacts, and rituals, allowing the deck to chain through its library and burn all three opponents to zero in a single turn. Vivi's activated mana ability generates substantial bursts of mana as power scales, keeping the chain mana-positive. Free counterspells like Force of Will and Pact of Negation defend the combo attempt, while Underworld Breach, Brain Freeze, and Niv-Mizzet, Parun provide robust secondary win lines.
