Format: Commander

Commander: Gyruda, Doom of Depths

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Gyruda, Doom of Depths is the deck's companion-style payoff: casting and flickering it mills four per player while stealing even-CMC creatures. The list leans into UB shapeshifters, clones, and reanimation to turn Gyruda into a repeatable value engine, with Sakashima of a Thousand Faces and Roaming Throne multiplying triggers. A secondary Archaeomancer-Displacer Kitten line makes infinite black mana and can loop Essence Flux to mill everyone out. The deck also cheats huge threats like Jin-Gitaxias and Kozilek, and packs a dense countermagic package to protect the combo. Overall it is a flexible, interactive combo-control deck that can pivot between combat and mill.
