Deck overview

This deck is a thematic mono-green midrange strategy helmed by The Cabbage Merchant. It focuses on turning Food tokens into extra mana, card advantage, and combat pressure. The game plan begins by establishing early mana acceleration through dorks and land auras, followed by casting the commander on Turn 3. As opponents cast noncreature spells, the commander stockpiles Food tokens, which tap in pairs for mana. The deck converts this mana surplus into massive token doublers like Doubling Season and Primal Vigor, or card engines like Trail of Crumbs and Elemental Bond. Combat pressure scales rapidly through earthbending mechanics on cards like The Boulder, Ready to Rumble and Bumi's Feast Lecture, animating lands into trampling attackers. A suite of protective instants safeguards key creatures while the deck overruns opponents by Turn 8.
