Deck overview

This deck is a high-velocity Jund Blitz Midrange engine piloted by Henzie 'Toolbox' Torre. The primary game plan focuses on deploying early ramp on Turns 1–2 to cast Henzie ahead of curve, establishing an operational blitz engine by Turn 4. From Turn 5 onward, the deck blitzes high-cost creature threats such as Etali, Primal Storm, Ziatora, the Incinerator, Protean Hulk, and Jumbo Cactuar. Blitzing grants immediate haste and attack triggers while converting mandatory end-step sacrifices into card draw and graveyard fuel. Graveyard recursion tools like Victimize, Meren of Clan Nel Toth, and Cauldron of Essence loop these fallen creatures for recurring value. Direct burn and life-drain triggers from Stalking Vengeance and Kokusho, the Evening Star close out remaining opponents around Turn 7. While resilient against traditional destruction, the deck relies primarily on threat redundancy rather than dedicated protection spells, making it vulnerable to early graveyard exile and targeted commander suppression.
