Deck overview

This is a UW Energy/activated-ability combo deck helmed by Rex, Cyber-Hound. Rex mills on combat damage, banks energy, and exiles creature cards from graveyards to gain their activated abilities - turning him into a toolbox of untap, mana, and utility activations. The 99 is built around two overlapping engines: energy loops (Aetherworks Marvel + Aethertide Whale for infinite free casts) and ability-copying permanents (Agatha's Soul Cauldron, Marvin, Murderous Mimic, The Enigma Jewel // Locus of Enlightenment). The primary win is assembling an infinite engine and then closing with unblockable/shrouded beaters like Aetherling or Morphling, or a Rex-fueled board. It is a slow, engine-driven deck that wins through value loops rather than fast combo.
