Deck overview

This deck is a Boros artifact aristocrats and burn strategy helmed by Ragost, Deft Gastronaut. The game plan revolves around generating large quantities of artifact tokens—such as Food, Clues, Treasures, Gnomes, and Robots—and converting them into lethal life-drain and direct damage across all opponents. Ragost, Deft Gastronaut turns every artifact into a Food and acts as a repeatable burn engine that untaps whenever you gain life. Complementary payoffs like Ingenious Artillerist, Weftstalker Ardent, Arbaaz Mir, and Alibou, Ancient Witness amplify every artifact drop and attack, applying steady, symmetric group-slug pressure. High-density token generators such as Academy Manufactor, Nuka-Cola Vending Machine, and Anim Pakal, Thousandth Moon fuel both mana velocity and sac fodder. While the list lacks fast infinite combos or format-leading stax locks, it establishes an operational engine by Turn 4, unleashes heavy multi-target burn by Turn 6, and consistently closes out the game around Turn 8.
