Deck overview

This deck is a high-tempo Temur Voltron and exile-advantage midrange list commanded by Haldan, Avid Arcanist and Pako, Arcane Retriever. The primary strategy accelerates mana in the early turns to cast Pako on Turn 3 or 4. Thanks to native haste, Pako immediately attacks, exiling four cards across all libraries with fetch counters while growing larger. Haldan follows shortly after, converting the exile zone into an expansive second hand by allowing you to play lands and cast noncreature spells from your opponents' decks as well as your own. The deck converts Pako's massive power into a rapid table-wide win using damage amplifiers like Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar, Chandra's Ignition, and extra combat steps from Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Combat Celebrant. Efficient protection spells ensure Pako survives opposing interaction, allowing the deck to out-value and overrun opponents in the mid game.
