Gimme Dat Booty! by BigNerdPDX

Format: Commander

Commander: Breeches, Brazen Plunderer and Malcolm, Keen-Eyed Navigator

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Breeches and Malcolm form an Izzet Pirate engine that turns combat damage into Treasure tokens and playable exiled cards. The deck's primary plan is to hit multiple opponents with Pirates (or use Kediss, Emberclaw Familiar to splash commander damage around), then use that burst of Treasure and card advantage to fuel a discard-drain finish with Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Magmakin Artillerist, and artifact-pingers. Breeches, Eager Pillager acts as a second copy of the theme, and type-changing effects (Maskwood Nexus, Arcane Adaptation, Leyline of Transformation) let every token and utility creature join the pirate team. Wins are incremental: repeated combats, theft effects, and a Port Razer turn that multiplies Treasure and drain triggers.
