Deck overview

This deck is a classic five-color Dragon Tribal strategy spearheaded by The Ur-Dragon. Taking full advantage of its commander's eminence ability, the deck reduces the casting cost of all Dragon spells right from the command zone. Supported by an extensive suite of low-cost mana rocks, specialized Orbs of Dragonkind, and cost reducers like Dragonspeaker Shaman and Urza's Incubator, the deck rapidly ramps into imposing flying beaters well ahead of standard timing. Once mid-game dragons and The Ur-Dragon hit the battlefield, triggers from Dragon Tempest and Scourge of Valkas convert creature deployment into immediate burn damage while commander attack triggers refill the hand and cheat massive permanents into play. The deck relies on high threat density, evasive combat damage, and resilient board-state advantages to overwhelm the table in consecutive combat phases.
