Deck overview

This Golgari deck utilizes The Mycotyrant to convert self-mill and permanent sacrifices into an expanding army of Fungus tokens. By filling the graveyard with dredge cards like Golgari Grave-Troll and continuous mill engines such as Crawling Infestation and Ripples of Undeath, the deck triggers descend multiple times each turn. This rapidly inflates the commander's power and toughness while generating a wide board of creature tokens. Mana engines like Jaheira, Friend of the Forest, Brightcap Badger, and Insidious Roots turn these tokens into ramp, accelerating into decisive game-ending overrun threats including Craterhoof Behemoth, Kamahl, Heart of Krosa, and Pathbreaker Ibex. Graveyard recursion pieces such as Conduit of Worlds and Timeless Witness provide long-term resilience, allowing the deck to rebuild after removal.
