Deck overview

This is a Dimir Faerie flash-tempo deck helmed by Alela, Cunning Conqueror. The game plan is to hold up mana on every opponent's turn, cast flash Faeries and instants, and let Alela convert each spell into a 1/1 Faerie Rogue token. Wavebreak Hippocamp, Nymris, Oona's Trickster, and Faerie Mastermind turn those opponent-turn casts into card advantage, while a dense lord suite - Tegwyll, Duke of Splendor, Scion of Oona, Favorable Winds, Patchwork Banner, and Banner of Kinship - turns a wide flying board into a legitimate clock. Alela's goad trigger keeps opposing creatures pointed away from you. The deck wins through incremental flying combat damage, often accelerated by a prowled Notorious Throng for an extra turn and a swarm of tokens, with Tegwyll's Scouring serving as a reset that leaves you with Faeries. It is a fair, interactive tempo deck with no infinite combos.
