Deck overview

This Gruul deck operates as a synergy-driven artifact token and overrun engine led by Aerid Konstrari. Aerid serves as both an early mana accelerator and a potent late-game mana sink, generating Heartwood tokens on entry and death. The deck rapidly ramps in the opening turns using efficient mana rocks and land fetchers, deploying Aerid by Turn 3 or 4. Midgame turns leverage artifact generation from Tireless Provisioner, Peregrin Took, and Roxanne, Starfall Savant alongside card-draw engines like Garruk's Uprising and The Great Henge. The primary victory condition triggers on Turn 5 through explosive overruns: Craterclaw Colossus grants team-wide trample and massive power buffs based on artifact count, Depthshaker Titan animates artifact tokens into aggressive 3/3 attackers with melee and haste, and Aerid's activated ability pumps it into a lethal flying threat. Supported by efficient green and red interaction and resilient death triggers, the deck applies relentless combat pressure to eliminate the table by Turn 7.
