Deck overview

This Jeskai spellslinger control deck leverages Shiko and Narset, Unified to generate consistent card advantage and double the efficiency of low-cost interaction. By packing a dense suite of 1-mana and 2-mana cantrips, mana rocks, and cost reducers, the deck aims to cast two spells each turn cycle. Flurry copies targeted removal like Swords to Plowshares to control opposing threats while drawing extra cards when resolving untargeted cantrips. Midgame value engines such as Archmage Emeritus, Whirlwind of Thought, and Kykar, Wind's Fury build a massive card and token advantage while Propaganda and Ghostly Prison deter incoming attacks. The deck transitions into a win via Approach of the Second Sun, using its rapid card velocity to dig through the top seven cards and recast it on Turn 8, or swarms the board with flying tokens as a resilient backup plan.
