Deck overview

This deck is a mono-blue combo-control strategy commanded by Orvar, the All-Form. It leverages Orvar's unique ability to create token copies of permanents whenever they are targeted by your own instants and sorceries. The early game focuses on developing mana rocks, establishing card-draw engines like Rhystic Study or The One Ring, and casting Orvar on Turn 4. The deck transitions into a lethal combo state on Turn 6 by resolving mana-positive permanents such as Peregrine Drake or Coveted Jewel alongside buyback spells like Whim of Volrath or Mind Games. This generates infinite mana and unlimited card draw, culminating in a same-turn victory via Laboratory Maniac or stealing every opposing permanent with Agent of Treachery. A rich suite of countermagic, efficient blink protection, and unique lands like Swarmyard ensures high resilience against opposing interaction throughout setup and execution.
