Deck overview

This mono-black Aristocrats deck utilizes Shadowheart, Dark Justiciar and Agent of the Iron Throne to convert recursive creatures into massive card advantage and rapid table-wide life drain. The deck accelerates in the opening turns using fast mana such as Dark Ritual, Sol Ring, and Warren Soultrader to assemble sacrifice outlets, recurring bodies like Gravecrawler and Bloodghast, and aristocrat drain engines. By Turn 4, it establishes an operational value engine that draws multiple cards per turn cycle and restricts opposing development through Opposition Agent, Dauthi Voidwalker, and Grave Pact. The primary win condition is a deterministic infinite drain combo arriving on Turn 5, utilizing loops such as Gravecrawler with Warren Soultrader or Phyrexian Altar, or the two-card synergy between Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. High redundancy and cheap reanimation ensure rapid recovery from interaction, delivering consistent, highly resilient combo pressure.
