Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white blink and flicker strategy commanded by Preston, the Vanisher. The primary game plan revolves around casting Preston on Turn 3 or 4, followed by deploying enter-the-battlefield creatures and flickering them to trigger Preston’s duplication ability. Because Preston creates 0/1 Illusion copies of nontoken creatures that enter without being cast, every flicker effect yields double value. Cantrip creatures like Spirited Companion and Wall of Omens draw substantial card volume, while removal creatures like Skyclave Apparition and Angel of the Ruins dismantle opposing boards. The deck accelerates into a win condition around Turn 6 by leveraging infinite blink loops—most notably Felidar Guardian paired with flicker spells or Restoration Angel—to create infinite Illusions, generate infinite mana, exile all opposing nonland permanents with Preston’s activated ability, and close the game on Turn 7 with an insurmountable combat swing backed by protection spells like Grand Abolisher and Teferi's Protection.
