Garruk and the huntsmen by BADWOLFDONTBLINK616

Format: Commander

Commander: Carth the Lion

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Golgari deck pairs Carth the Lion with an assortment of Garruk planeswalkers, Wolves, Bears, and high-impact Wurms. Carth acts as an engine piece by digging seven cards deep for planeswalkers whenever he enters or a walker dies, while also boosting loyalty ability costs to reach ultimate abilities rapidly. The game plan focuses on establishing early creature presence, casting powerful planeswalkers to generate value and tokens, and then overwhelming the table with massive threats. The primary win conditions involve large-scale combat finishes powered by cards like Beastmaster Ascension, Overwhelming Stampede, Return of the Wildspeaker, or resolved Garruk ultimates that distribute enormous buffs and trample across the board.
